
Hi, I’m Amanda — a writer, counselor, and mother of three boys, living a life that’s both ordinary and extraordinary. By day, I work in the world of education and mental health, helping young people (and their families) navigate life’s challenges. By night, I steep myself in reflection, journaling, and the small rituals of mindfulness that keep me grounded.
I write here as someone who’s continually learning how to balance growth and grace: raising kids while growing a career, building a home far from where I was raised, rediscovering myself after big life transitions, and noticing beauty in the everyday.
